Didriksons - Combinaison 3 pour bébés - Cornelius - Bleu
The Cornelius by Didriksons is a warmly padded coverall in a breathable windproof and waterproof fabric with taped seams. It is made from a soft polyamide. Cornelius has a regular fit and pre-shaped legs, with reinforced knees and seat. The underarms have been designed for greater mobility. This coverall has two roomy front pockets with zips. The hood is detachable with snap fasteners and adjustable. The coverall has a zip covered by a protective storm flap at the centre front. Reflective details at the cuffs and ankles, on the hood and the back. Includes snow gaiters and replaceable silicone foot straps. The waist, cuffs and ankles are all adjustable. The sleeves and legs can be extended by up to one size with the “Extend size” function by detaching the specified inside seams. Cornelius is padded with recycled polyester fibre that provides effective insulation. The lining has been dyed using a solution dyeing technique. This technique reduces water, energy and chemical consumption during production. PFC-free water-repellent finish. Name tag with space for several names inside.
Didriksons started in 1913 in Grundsund, Sweden. The Didriksons company started making waterproof jackets for fishermen that would protect them from the cold, wet and rough conditions on Swedish waters. At the time, more fishermen died from hypothermia than from drowning. The very first coats were nothing more than pieces of fabric that were coated several times with layers of (linseed) oil using a brush. After this the 'oilskins' were hung out to dry. When these had dried sufficiently the fishermen could wear them in the cold and wetness on the water. The fishermen spontaneously stayed dry and warm and soon the demand for these early Didriksons 'raincoats' increased rapidly.
